This medical group has best patient ratings for PCP office in the east county of San Diego with a rating of 4.4 to 5/5 on 7 major websites, is currently seeking a Primary Care Physician with Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine for outpatient work to join our award-winning team in La Mesa, CA (located in East San Diego County)! Candidates need to be licensed in CA.

Services would include providing care to a wide variety of patients who are known to be very loyal to their primary care physicians. Our goal is to find a provider that is motivated to become the leader of a well-established award-winning primary care office. Our current leader is retiring after a very long, very successful career, and we are looking for the perfect person to step into his place to lead this office into the future.

Duties would include the following:

Yearly Annual Visits for our Senior Population to assist with Capturing and Treating HCCs Treatment of Chronic Conditions within scope of practice Preoperative Clearance's Procedures/In Office that you may be proficient in. 
Assist with providing access to care (same day to 24-hour appts) Review of labs + imaging in a timely manner per CMS and Insurance guidelines.
No weekend call; 1-2 calls/week after hours for emergent or critical labs only
2:1 Staff ratio with back up medical assistance to help with calls, filling chronic medications, chart prep and obtaining appropriate records.
Great looking, clean, great location practice Option to admit patients at local hospital (if preferred). 
Start with 5-day week schedule with potential admin day after 6 months Average 15-18 patients/day depending on level of risk/time required. 
Proactive and accessible admin that do care for their physicians. 
Great IT support with training in EMR .
