Job Summary: The Family Medicine Physician provides comprehensive healthcare to individuals and families, serving as a primary care provider. This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, promoting preventive care, and collaborating with patients to maintain their overall health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities: Primary Care: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients seeking medical care. Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments. Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic illnesses. Prescribe medications and treatment plans based on patient needs. Promote and provide preventive healthcare services. Administer vaccinations and conduct screenings for various conditions. Manage and monitor patients with chronic conditions, adjusting treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with specialists for comprehensive care. Provide health education to patients and their families regarding lifestyle choices, nutrition, and preventive measures. Conduct routine check-ups and physical examinations. Assess and address patients' overall health status. Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent care services.
Stabilize and manage patients in critical conditions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Document patient care, treatment plans, and progress notes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Make referrals to specialists as necessary. Engage in community outreach programs to promote health and wellness. Participate in health education initiatives.
Qualifications: Medical degree from an accredited institution. Completion of a residency program in Family Medicine. Board certification in Family Medicine (preferred). CA license. Commitment to ongoing professional development. Bilingual in Spanish
