Job Opportunity: NP, Urgent Care Locums Need in OH!
Start Date: August-September
Contract Length: 8-10 weeks

Shift Details:

9+ hour shifts from 8am to approximately 5pm (doors lock at 5pm but we stay until all patients are seen).
Schedule: 4 days/week (Monday-Friday), typically Monday-Thursday, with occasional Fridays as needed.
Work Details:

Support Staff: We see acute walk-ins and scheduled patients.
Coverage Needed per Month: 2 RNs, 2 LPNs, 2 MAs, and 1 RT.
Patients per Day: 30
Patient Population/Age: College students only (mostly 18-25 years), with occasional pediatric patients under 14.
Department Description: Urgent Care for Ohio University Student Health Center.
EMR: Epic
Skills Required: Laceration repair, incision and drainage.
Practice Setting:

Location: Student Health Center
Urgent Care on the 1st floor
Primary Care on the 2nd floor
Counseling and Psych Services on the 3rd floor
Requirements:

Board Certification: NCCPA, AANP, ANCC
License Required: Ohio Medical Board (Ohio License) CNP (family) or PA-C
DEA: Yes
Certifications Preferred: ACLS, PALS
Certifications Required: BLS
Minimum Experience Required: 2+ years
Credentialing Timeframe: Emergency – 30 days
