There is need in California for Occupational Medicine / Urgent Care in California starting ASAP, 6 + month assignment with option to extend. Please review the job criteria and let me know if you can assist.

Specialty: Occupational Med/Urgent Care Physician
Start Date: 9/9/24
Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing
Shift Details: Monday through Friday 8a-5p DOT Required before 1st shift
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8a-5p DOT Required before 1st shift
Work Details:
· Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Will accept minimum of 3 days/week. Prefer 5.
· Patients per day: 3-4 per hour
· EMR: All scripts
· Patient Population/Age: All ages
· Department Description: Diagnose and treat work-related injuries, perform pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for varied private companies and governmental agencies. Evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walk-in basis. May oversee, collaborate with and supervise any advanced practice providers in the clinic. Perform in-office procedures, communicate with employers and provide medical guidance. Exhibit Orange Book characteristics including welcoming, skillful and respectful behaviors at all times. Completes all documentation in a timely and appropriate manner. Walk-in and scheduled patients
· Skills Required: Must be DOT certified to be presented. Must be comfortable to work autonomously. Must be comfortable with suturing

Travel Logistics:
· Specific travel client will pay for: Travel and lodging ( local candidates are highly preferred)
Requirements:
· Board Certification: BC/BE in primary care or related field
· License Required: Active CA license
