📋 Contract Details
🟢 Start Date: As soon as credentialed (45–60 days)
🟢 Contract Length: Through August/September with strong potential to extend; locum-to-perm candidates welcome
🟢 Contract Type: Locum Tenens
🟢 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch; 8–12 and 1–5)
🟢 Call Schedule: 1:4 secondary call
🟢 Call Coverage Model: Midwives are primary call; OB/GYNs are called in only for high-risk deliveries or C-sections. Hospital also utilizes a contracted laborist group to provide coverage while the on-call OB/GYN is en route.
🟢 Scope Preference: Full-scope OB/GYN plus call preferred; outpatient-only candidates will be considered

🏥 Clinic Details
🟢 Patient Volume: Average 18–21 patients per day
🟢 Visit Structure:
• 15-minute follow-ups
• 30-minute new patient and procedure visits
🟢 Patient Demographics: Adolescents (13+) through geriatrics
🟢 EMR: Epic experience highly preferred

🩺 Clinical Responsibilities & Required Skills
🟢 Office-Based Procedures:
• Biopsies
• IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal
• Incision & drainage (cysts)
• LEEP, colposcopy, EMB, cryotherapy, cervical polyp removal

🟢 Clinical Care:
• Confirmation of pregnancy (>7 weeks) with bedside ultrasound
• Initial and routine OB visits
• Postpartum care and incision checks
• Well-woman exams (all ages)
• Problem visits (UTI, STI, menopause, HRT, breast pain)

📋 Candidate Requirements
🟢 Board Certification: Required
🟢 Experience: Minimum 2+ years
🟢 Licensure: Unrestricted California license required
🟢 DEA: Required
🟢 Certifications: BLS or ACLS
🟢 Credentialing Timeline: 45–60 days
