Adult Primary Care Physician Needed for Outpatient Facility
Full Time Coverage Preferred
Coverage needed for 6 months
Shifts: 8a-5p (1 hour lunch unpaid)
Full Work Week 32 hours clinic, 8 hours paid admin - Total of 40 hours
Prefer someone with an active MA license
Volume: Approximately 18 per day or 70 per week
Support: 1:1 MA support. Onsite Psychiatrist, Social Worker and Psychologist, Embedded Rheumatology
EMR System: Epic - Dragon Dictation is available (Epic Experience Preferred)
Willing to cover travel within reason
DEA and CSR Required

General Medicine/Primary Care located in the main University campus. Easy access to labs, specialists, xray, etc
Benedict Adult Primary Care is the flagship university based adult primary care practice
Standard 4 hour sessions are templated for between 8-10 patients
Standard visit durations are 30 minutes; there are occasional 15 minute visits for selected urgent care issues, 45 minutes for new patients. We do not expect new patients to be a standard part of this position
We use a team based model of care
MAs have high level Epic skills and perform advanced rooming with med reconciliation, care gap assistance, order pending, immunization administration, check out and multiple other functions
8 advanced practitioners: Physicians linked with an APP
30 medical residents; options to work with them
Assigned administrative assistant
8 nurses perform triage and floor work
All in basket messages go to pools and are processed before they are passed on to providers.
Easy access to the lab and imaging. Same day fast track CT scans available
Collaborative atmosphere: everyone helps others. Large central resident precepting room with attendings who will help assist with any questions or issues
Embedded (and on site) pharmacists, social workers, behavioral health (psychology, psychiatry)

• Contract Type for Daily OT after 8 hours /Weekly OT after 168 hours
