Specialty: Surgical Critical Care
Location: Arizona
Dates Needed: Nov 25–28, 2025 (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts)
Practice Setting: Hospital | 10-bed SICU | Level I/II Trauma

Highlights

Thanksgiving week coverage at a busy Level I/II Trauma Center

Manage SICU patients plus Trauma/General Surgery patients in the step-down unit and on the floor

Collaborative team environment working closely with NPs

Work Details

Shifts: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Coverage: SICU + Trauma, including pediatric patients

Daytime coverage: Acute Care Surgeon on site; at night, SICU doctor covers GS/Trauma + SICU

Must complete documentation directly in EMR (no scribes provided)

Requirements

Board Eligible/Board Certified in General Surgery

Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care required

ATLS active

Experience in Level I or II Trauma Center required

Active Arizona license & DEA required (or active IMLC)

Must be comfortable treating all ages (including pediatrics)
