Aya Locums is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to provide critical call coverage at a high-acuity Level I trauma center in California. This opportunity offers dynamic, hands-on vascular trauma experience in a fast-paced hospital setting with a strong surgical support team.

• Start Date: July 2026
• Schedule: 24-hour beeper call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)

Work Details
• Specialty: Vascular Surgery
• Patient Volume: Variable census; increased demand during summer months
• Department: Level I Trauma Center
• EMR: Epic
• Skills Required: Advanced experience in vascular trauma and open vascular surgery; must be comfortable managing high-acuity cases independently

Practice Setting
• Hospital-Based (Trauma Center)
Requirements
• License: Active California medical license required
• Board Certification: Board Eligible or Board Certified required
• DEA: Active California DEA required
• Certifications Required: Fluoroscopy certification and ACLS
• Preferred Experience: Strong preference for Level I trauma experience (Level II considered)
• Minimum Experience: Proven background in vascular trauma call and open surgical procedures

Credentialing Timeframe - Estimated 90–120 days
