Plastic Surgeon – Microsurgical/Hand (Locums) | Virginia

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 8–12 months
Location: Virginia
Schedule: 1–2 weeks per month | 1–2 scheduled OR days | 24-hour call (2–3 calls per week)
Credentialing: ~60 days | Willing to License: YES
Position Overview
We seeking a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon with microsurgical and/or hand surgery training for a long-term locums opportunity in Virginia. This position offers flexibility, excellent OR support, and the chance to work in a Level 1 Trauma environment with diverse cases and a respected surgical team.
Practice Details
Contract Type: Locums
Shifts: 24-hour call, 1–2 scheduled OR days per week
Call Schedule: 2–3 calls per week
Patient Load: 1–3 patients per day
Patient Population: Adult plastic surgery (microsurgical) and adult/pediatric hand surgery
Support Staff: Dedicated OR team
EMR: Epic
Requirements
Board Certification: Required (Plastic Surgery)
Training: Fellowship in Hand Surgery or Microsurgery required
Licensure: Active state license (We’ll assist with licensing!)
Certifications: DEA, BLS, ACLS
Experience: Minimum 2 years post-training
