Hi!

This is Sergio Cayetano with Aya Locums, and I’m reaching out with an exciting Thoracic Surgery locum opportunity in Southwest Washington. This urgent need offers flexible call-only scheduling, competitive pay, and the chance to join a supportive thoracic surgery team.

📌 Assignment Highlights:
📅 Start Date: ASAP (standard credentialing, possible fast track due to urgent need)
🗓 Contract: 6 months with option to extend
⏱ Coverage Needs: 2 weeks/month
📞 Schedule:
• Evening call Mon–Thurs (5pm–7am)
• Once/month: 24-hour weekend call Fri 5pm–Mon 7am
• Occasionally: 2 weekends/month
🏥 Setting: Inpatient hospital – 420 beds
👥 Support Staff: Dedicated NP coverage Mon–Sat during daytime hours
🔹 Patient Volume: 5–10 patients/day (adults only)
🩺 Required Procedures: Standard thoracic surgery (no robotics, no cardiac)

✅ Requirements:
• Board Certification in Thoracic Surgery
• WA license or IMLC

💲 Pay Rate: Competitive
