Alan Thompson
Vice President of CVO
Alan joined LocumTenens.com as a Director in the CVO department in October 2016. After learning many aspects of the business supporting multiple teams within CVO, he moved into an Associate Vice President role in April 2019 and into his current Vice President role in January 2023.
He took a winding path to get to his current position, graduating from the University of Georgia in 2004 with a Geography degree and certificate in GIS. He began his career in the environmental due diligence industry and spent the next 10 years taking on additional responsibilities and eventually his first leadership role. Finding a passion leading others and helping them achieve their personal and professional goals, he attended Georgia State University and earned his MBA in General Business with a concentration in Organizational Management. In 2014, before coming to LocumTenens.com, he joined a global manufacturing company leading a customer service team in the supply chain division.
Outside of work Alan enjoys running, hiking and spending time with his wife, Liza, and two children, Molly and Maddox.
