Hematologist needed in Minnesota for inpatient coverage!

Contract Length: 3–6 months (possible extensions)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology physician with expertise in malignant hematology to provide full-time inpatient care with required call coverage (PM and weekends). This is a hands-on role managing complex cases in a supportive hospital and infusion environment.

Highlights:

Malignant Hematology Focus: Inpatient care and on-call coverage where malignant hematology experience is required.

Structured Schedule with Flexibility: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM plus required call coverage, supported by APPs during daytime shifts.

Short-Term Opportunity with Extension Potential: 3–6 month locum assignment with possible extension or permanent placement option.

Requirements:

Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology (malignant required)

Active MN license or eligible through IMLC

DEA registration

BLS certification

Minimum 2 years of inpatient hematology/oncology experience

Additional Info:

Patient load: 30–40 per day

EMR: Epic

Hospital and outpatient practice experience required

Credentialing: 90 days for licensed providers; 120 days if license needed
