Nephrology Locums Opportunity in MO

Job description

Opportunity Details:

Location: Missouri

Start Date: September

Contract Length: Through December

Schedule: 24-hour call (Monday 7am – Monday 7am)

Coverage: Approximately 2 weeks per month (rotating schedule)

Work Details:

Inpatient consults and rounding

After-hours typically handled via phone consults with minimal callback

12–20 patients per day (varies)

Adult patient population

EMR: EPIC

Strong support staff including nurses, PCTs, CNAs, and IR

Additional Info:

Dialysis units covered by onsite nephrologist

Procedures such as kidney biopsies and temporary HD catheters handled by IR, surgery, or ICU teams
