New Opportunity Located in Western WA with Aya Locums: Family Practice Physician

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Family Practice Physician (MD) for a locum assignment in Western Washington at a community health center.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Contract Length: 3 months, with possibility to extend
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
• Shift Details: 8-hour clinical days with 1-hour unpaid lunch
• Call Requirements: None

Work Details
• Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant per provider, reception staff, mental health therapists, dietitians
• Patients per Day: Up to 21 scheduled patients; must be comfortable with high-volume, fast-paced workflow with potential same-day add-ons
• Patient Population: Newborns through geriatrics
• Department Description: Community Health Center serving migrant and refugee populations with onsite interpretation services; includes family medicine, walk-in/acute care, and chronic disease management
• EMR: Epic
• Procedures: Basic outpatient procedures including injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Active Washington State license required (no exceptions)
• DEA: Active Washington DEA required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required; clean background required (no malpractice history considered)

Additional Notes
• Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus
