Pediatric Pulmonology opportunity in West Virginia

Job description

Start: January 2026
Duration: 6-month contract; 2 weeks per month
Schedule: Monday–Friday clinic (AM/PM). Inpatient consult coverage only when the other pediatric pulmonologist is off. Home call coverage.

Work Details:
• Support staff includes Medical Assistants, RT (for CF Clinic), Social Worker, CF Nurse/Coordinator, and Dietician
• Coverage needed: 2 weeks per month
• Patient load: ~20 patients/day (full clinic schedule)
• Patient age range: up to 21 years old
• Department: Pediatric Pulmonology
• EMR: Cerner
• Procedures: Bronchoscopy
• Skills: Interpretation of PFTs and full PFTs/spirometry

Requirements:
• Board Certified in General Pediatrics (preferred)
• Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonology (required)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required
• DEA required
• WV license required — willing to license

Practice Setting:
• Hospital-based

Credentialing: 60–90 days
