An established academic hospital is seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) for a full-time locum tenens assignment. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, no call, and a diverse case mix within a collaborative anesthesia care team.

Assignment Details

Start Date: July 2026
Contract Length: 6 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift Options: 4x10s or 5x8s
Shift Times: Staggered starts between 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
No call required
Full-time coverage needed

Practice Environment

Setting: Acute Care Hospital (Academic/Training)
Facility Size: 300+ beds
Team: Collaborative care model with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, surgeons, and perioperative staff
EMR: Epic

General surgery
Orthopedics

Requirements

Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA)
Board Certification required (NCCAA)
Active state license required
Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Epic experience required

Additional Information

Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days
