Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join a busy inpatient anesthesia department in Texas. This role offers a steady full-time schedule, diverse caseload exposure, and the opportunity to work alongside an established, highly collaborative anesthesia team.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• Contract Length: Full-time ongoing locum coverage
• Schedule: Combination of 8-, 10-, 12-, and 16-hour shifts (call included)
• Shift Example: Standard day shift – 7:00 to 15:00
• Coverage Needs: Scheduled shifts + required call
• Scheduling: Weekly schedule varies based on department needs

Work Details
• Support Staff: Team includes 5 full-time anesthesiologists plus multiple CRNAs
• Monthly Coverage: Full-time locum provider needed
• Patient Volume: Typically, 2–10 cases per day, dependent on complexity
• Patient Population: Ages 16–99 (adult-only practice; no pediatrics)
• Facility Size: 12 ORs, including cath labs
• Case Types / Service Lines:
o Orthopedics
o General Surgery (robotic & minimally invasive included)
o Neurosurgery
o GI Endoscopy
o Electrophysiology & structural cardiology
• EMR: Cerner (anesthesia charts completed on paper)

Requirements
• Board Certification: CAA; board-certified or board-eligible
• Experience: 1+ year preferred, but new grads will be considered
• Certifications: CAA, ACLS, BLS
• Licensure: Active or ability to obtain Texas credentials
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30–60 days
