Hospital Privileges: Required
Setting: Inpatient
Number of Inpatient Beds: 25
Call Requirements:

24-hour call coverage
Average of 10 shifts per month covering the Emergency Department (ED), Operating Room (OR), Labor & Delivery (L&D), and inpatient services
Rounding: Yes

Patient Population:

Ages: Adult, Pediatric, and Geriatric
Average Patient Volume: Varies – 4-5 patients per day for long cases, 10-12 patients per day for short cases
Work Environment:

Solo Coverage: No – Provider will collaborate with:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs)
24-hour hospitalist
24-hour ED physician
On-call orthopedic surgeon
On-call general surgeon
On-call obstetrician
Licensure Requirements:

Alaska (AK) license not required for submission
Certifications:

Board Certification required
Additional certifications as required by Medical Staff Office (MSO)
Electronic Medical Record (EMR):

EPIC (Proficiency required)
Travel: Yes/No (Specify)

Credentialing Timeframes:

Standard Privileges: ~1.5 years
Temporary Privileges: ~120 days
Standard Credentialing: ~90 days
Expedited Credentialing: ~30 days (Requires MSO pre-approval, clean pre-application, and active state license)
