Looking for a unique locums experience in a scenic coastal community? This Critical Access Hospital in Ketchikan, AK is seeking a skilled CRNA to join their team on a short-term yet impactful assignment. With a mix of scheduled shifts and 24-hour call coverage, this opportunity is ideal for providers who enjoy a broad scope of practice in a collaborative, well-supported setting.

Position Highlights:
• Start Date: 3/3/2025
• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Shift Details: 8-hour day shifts (7:30a-3:30p) + 24-hour call shifts
• Call Requirement: Average of 10 call shifts/month, covering ED, OR, L&D, and inpatient
• Weekend Call: Rotates with 1-2 other CRNAs (2 weekend shifts per 7-10 days)
Role & Responsibilities:
• Practice Setting: Critical Access Hospital (25 inpatient beds)
• Patient Demographic: Adult, Pediatric, and Geriatric
• Case Volume: Varies – 4-5 long cases/day or 10-12 shorter cases/day
• Collaborative Team: Work alongside CRNAs, 24-hour hospitalists, ED physicians, and on-call orthopedic, general, and OB surgeons
• Rounding Required
• EMR: EPIC (Must be proficient)
Travel & Requirements:
• Travel & Lodging: Covered
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Open to non-licensed candidates
• Credentialing Timeframe: Expedited (30 days with approval) or standard (90 days)
