Job description

We’re seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity at a busy, well-established hospital with a strong CRNA care team and flexible scheduling options.

This position is ideal for anesthesiologists who enjoy OB anesthesia, regional techniques, and a broad general case mix, with no mandatory night shifts and predictable weekday OR coverage.

Position Highlights

Schedule: Monday–Friday OR coverage

CRNA Model: 6 CRNAs per day in the OR

Call: Shared OB call structure with post-call day off for primary call

Nights: Optional in-house night shift option (11p–7a, Mon–Fri) for providers seeking nights

Flexibility: Open to providers interested in days, call, or optional nights

Clinical Practice

Annual Volume: ~6,500 cases

Primary Cases:

General Surgery

Orthopedics

OB/GYN (including TOLACs & VBACs)

~473 deliveries / 220 C-sections annually

Additional Cases: ENT, Podiatry, Urology, Plastics, Radiology, Vascular

Pediatrics: Healthy peds (age 1+), primarily ENT

Regional & OB Experience

Required Skills:

Epidurals

Spinals

Ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia

Occasional Blocks:

PECS

Serratus Plane

Erector Spinae

TAP

Cervical Plexus

Note: No nerve catheters

Technology & Credentials

EMR: Cerner

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
