Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a CRNA for an ongoing locum assignment at a Level I trauma hospital in Southern California.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: May 2026
• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours
• Schedule: Flexible scheduling based on availability; must meet weekend requirements
• Shift Details: 12-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 9:30 AM, or 11:30 AM (11:30 AM shifts are rare)
• Call Requirements: No call
• Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts per month for full-time

Work Details
• Support Staff: Anesthesiologists supervising up to 3 CRNAs; teaching facility with residents
• Department Description: Medical direction model at a Level I trauma center with very high acuity and complex patient population; providers should expect to manage critically ill patients regularly
• Case Mix: General anesthesia including orthopedics, GYN, and general surgery (no OB, pediatrics, or cardiac cases)
• EMR: Epic

Practice Setting
• Hospital

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Active California license required
• Experience: Must have extensive Level II trauma experience; Level I academic experience highly preferred
• Certifications Required: COVID vaccination required
