Long Term CRNA Opportunity in Idaho
Job description
Specialty: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Contract Length: 6 months to 1 year (facility prefers continuous coverage)
Location: Idaho
Schedule:
Guaranteed 40 hours per week (varies between 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts)
Call required: 1 weekend call shift and 2 weeknight call shifts per month
Option to substitute 1 weekend call every 3 months by working 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday regular shift
Schedules provided 6 weeks in advance
Full-time locum coverage only
Work Details:
Continuous full-time coverage, guaranteed 40 hours per week
Patient population: adolescent, child, adult, geriatric (90%+ over age 12)
Hospital: 378 beds, 17 main ORs, 7 DSC, plus specials, cath labs, endoscopy, and radiology
Supervision-based anesthesia with max 4:1 CRNA to anesthesiologist ratio
Cases include: GYN, general surgery, ortho, spine, crani, plastics, lungs, healthy peds, eye, GI, structural hearts, EP, interventional radiology, MRI
No burns, transplants, open heart, sick peds, or OB
Regional anesthesia/blocks performed by anesthesiologists; CRNAs perform spinal blocks and occasionally arterial lines
Comfortable managing Level II trauma cases
Requirements:
Board Certified CRNA
Open to licensing candidates
DEA and CSR required
Minimum 1 year experience (6 months minimum considered)
Credentialing timeframe: 30-45 days if licensed; 90-120 days if pending license
