Job description
We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide locum services at a community hospital in Idaho. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking diverse case exposure, consistent scheduling, and long‑term placement potential. Coverage is needed beginning April 2026 for a 6–12 month contract with potential for ongoing placement.
🏥 Job Details:
Setting: Acute care hospital, Trauma Level II
Schedule: Day shifts (8–12 hours); Monday–Friday; occasional 24‑hour and 16‑hour shifts required
Coverage: Scheduled shifts + call coverage (1 weekend call per month, 2 weeknight calls per month)
Shift Commitment: Full‑time only; 40 hours per week guaranteed; no block scheduling
Support Services: Supervision‑based anesthesia model (max 4:1 ratio); CRNAs perform spinal blocks but not regional anesthesia/epidurals; physicians available for support
Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, geriatrics (90%+ over age 12)
Procedures: General surgery, gyn, ortho, spine, crani, plastics, pulmonary, healthy peds, eye, GI, structural hearts, EP, endoscopy, interventional radiology, MRI; no burns, transplants, open hearts, sick peds, or OB
Charting: Epic
Hospital Size: 378 beds; 17 main ORs, 7 day surgery centers, plus cath labs, endoscopy, and radiology suites
📋 Requirements:
Board Certification: NBCRNA required
License: Open to licensing; Idaho CSR required
Certifications: DEA required
Experience: Minimum 1 year (will consider 6 months); must be comfortable with Level II trauma cases
Charting Experience: Epic preferred

Credentialing timeframe: ~30–45 days if licensed; 90–120 days if pending license
Scrubs provided by department
Name clear required prior to submission (license status and NPI)
No local candidates accepted
Schedule released in 6‑week blocks
