Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Locum Tenens Opportunity

Location: West Burlington, Iowa

Assignment Duration: As soon as credentialed – ongoing

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30-60 days

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Flexibility with hours is required

Call Requirements:
Nights and weekends
Call rotation shared among three providers
Predominantly obstetric (OB) cases
Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Cerner

Practice Model:
Providers operate independently; must be comfortable and confident in autonomous practice

Neurosurgical: Cranial and Spine
Pediatrics
Trauma
Obstetrics (OB)

Regional Anesthesia:
Epidural
Spinal Anesthesia
Interscalene/Supraclavicular
Axillary
Femoral/Adductor Canal Block
Popliteal
Sciatic Block
Ankle Block
Transversus Abdominis Plane (TAP) Block
Anesthesia Skills:

Central Line Placement and Management
Pulmonary Artery (PA) Catheter
Arterial Line Placement and Management
Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) Placement and Management
Ultrasound-Guided Regional Blocks and Line Placement
Pain Management
Ventilation Management
Compensation:


Submission Requirements:

NBCRNA certification
Active Iowa license – Highly Preferred
Local candidates – Highly Preferred
Clean malpractice and background history
BLS, ACLS, PALS, CSR, and DEA certifications
Comfortable with all listed scopes of practice
Comfortable working independently
COVID-19 vaccination
