Job description
Aya Locums is partnering with a respected Level 1 Trauma Center in Kentucky seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time locum opportunity. This is a great long-term contract with flexible scheduling and no weekend or call requirements.
Position Highlights:
Specialty: CRNA
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Schedule: Full-time; 0630AM – 0530PM (½-hour lunch)
Shift Options:
4x10s (M–Th or T–F preferred)
Will also consider 3x12s, 4x12s, or 5x12s
Call/Weekends: None
Minimum Availability: Must be available 3 weeks/month
Practice Details:
Facility Type: Hospital – Level 1 Trauma Center
Case Mix: Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (No Hearts, No OB)
Patient Population: All ages (no Neonates)
Cases/Day: 1–9 daily (varies)
Support Staff:
CRNAs, Anesthesia Techs, and Anesthesiologists
Medically directed model – Typically 2:1 or 3:1
Attending often paired with a Resident
EMR: EPIC (preferred)
Procedures Required:
Intubation
Central Line
Arterial Line
Line Placement
Must be comfortable with NORA cases
Blocks not typically required
Qualifications:
Certification: NBCRNA (Board Certified)
License: Active KY license preferred; open to candidates willing to license
Experience: Minimum 1 year (No new grads)
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
