CRNA Opportunity – Full-Time | Level I Trauma Center | High-Acuity + Flexible Scheduling

Job description

A leading Level I Trauma Center is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time locum tenens opportunity. This facility offers a high-acuity environment with diverse case exposure and teaching-focused collaboration. The ideal candidate will be available for consistent weekly coverage and able to work a variety of shift structures.

Schedule:

Full-Time | 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM (½-hour lunch)

Flexible shift options: 4x10, 5x10, 3x12, 4x12, 5x12 considered

Facility requires consistent full-time availability

Contract Length:

6 months minimum; facility prefers long-term locum coverage

Work Details:

Patient Volume: 1–9 per day

Patient Population: All age groups (excluding neonatal)

Department Coverage: Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (No Heart, No OB)

NORA Required for all providers

EMR: EPIC preferred

Support & Team Structure:

CRNA, Anesthesiology Tech, and Anesthesiologists on-site

Medically directed model; typical ratio 2:1 or 3:1

Anesthesiologists may supervise up to 4 CRNAs for low acuity cases

Teaching environment: Attendings often paired with residents

Skills Required:

Intubation

Central Line & Arterial Line Placement

No OB or regional blocks required
