CRNA needed in Faribault, MN

Job description

• Providers will be required to float between both facilities. (roughly 20 minutes apart)***

• Weekend call required and is rotated between all providers.

General and OB

Faribault:
VBAC/TOLAC experience required. **Strong OB Experience required

Owatonna:
1 MD on site – not on call

Schedule:
Regular: M-Th (Elective) Fridays – Emergent only (i.e. c-section)
8 or 10 hour days + Call (required). Overnight call and W/E (rotated).

Contract Length: Ongoing

Shift Hours: 8- or 10-hours Monday-Thursday.
Friday - Emergency cases only (c-section and possibly oner other case)

Work Details:
· Support staff: Unsupervised. Will need a strong CRNA. Will have MDs to assist.
· Patient population/age: Adults and PEDs
· Department description: Unsupervised model,
· Special procedures: VBAC/TOLAC, Blocks, Epidurals,
· Skills required: PEDs, ENT,

Weekend Beeper Call 24hrs = $1500 flat rate
Weekend Beeper Call 12hrs = $1000
Weeknight Beeper Call 8hrs = $600 flat rate
Weeknight Beeper Call 12hrs = $800
Call back = 1.5x the hourly rate
OT: 1.5x normal rate
OT rule is “After Scheduled Shift”
Holiday: 1.5x normal rate – New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day [00:00 – 23:59]

Q&A
1. Confirming both weeknight and weekend call are beeper hold, correct? What is the required response time? – Yes, all call is beeper call. The response time is 30 minutes. If there is a need to stay onsite to fulfill the requirement, both hospitals have sleep rooms for the CRNAs.

2. Do they cover Friday thru Sunday on weekend call, or are the days split up? – Friday through Sunday is all covered by weekend call.

3. Do they need to just be comfortable with cardiac cases, or be TEE certified? – There are no cardiac surgeries performed at either site. In Owatonna, there are cardioversions and TEEs performed by the cardiologist. The CRNAs do not need to be certified, as they are not doing the TEE.

4. How many cardiac cases will they be doing week to week on avg? – TEEs and cardioversions are scheduled relatively infrequently. Usually, there are not more than a few per month.
