Locum CRNA - MN License - ASAP Start

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide locum services for a multi-site float pool in Minnesota. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking flexible scheduling, diverse practice settings, and consistent weekday and weekend coverage. Coverage is needed beginning January 2026 for an ongoing contract with potential for ongoing placement.

🏥 Job Details:

Setting: Multi-site float pool across two facilities (supervised and unsupervised models)

Schedule: 8-hour shifts Monday–Thursday (elective cases); Friday emergent-only coverage (e.g., c-sections); weekend and PM call required, rotated among providers

Coverage: Scheduled shifts + call coverage (weeknight and weekend)

Shift Commitment: Full-time strongly preferred; part-time availability (minimum 2 weeks/month) considered

Support Services: MDs available at supervised site; sleep rooms available for onsite call coverage

Patient Population: Adults and pediatrics

Procedures: General and OB anesthesia, VBAC/TOLAC, epidurals, TAP blocks, spinal and peripheral blocks, ENT cases

Charting: Epic

📋 Requirements:

Board Certification: NBCRNA required

License: Active Minnesota license required (not willing to license)

Certifications: ACLS and BLS required

Experience: Minimum 1 year; strong OB experience required (VBAC/TOLAC)

Charting Experience: Epic required

📝 Additional Notes:

Providers must be comfortable working in both supervised and unsupervised care models

Response time for beeper call is 30 minutes; sleep rooms available onsite

Weekend call covers Friday–Sunday

No cardiac surgeries performed; occasional TEEs and cardioversions handled by cardiologists (no certification required)

Credentialing includes fingerprinting (typically 48 hours to post before privileges granted)
