Facility:
This healthcare system operates multiple locations including a 344-bed tertiary hospital that serves as a Level I Trauma Center, along with several outpatient surgery centers and a hospital in Superior, WI. The system features state-of-the-art facilities with a new main hospital that opened in July 2023, providing comprehensive surgical services across 26 operating rooms.
Opportunity:
Advanced Practice (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
• Medically directed practice with collegial Anesthesiologists
• Handle 1-2 longer cases or 3-4 shorter cases per 8-hour day on average
• Work within busy surgical schedule that includes all specialties except transplants and pediatric hearts
• Provide one-to-one patient care in operating rooms, Cath lab, GI, EP, MRI, and CT as needed
• Care for all patient age groups at a Level 1 trauma center
• Work 7 days a week with 8, 10, 12 hour shifts (Mon-Fri) and 12 or 16 hour shifts (Sat & Sun)
• Must be graduate (Master's or Doctorate) of accredited school of anesthesia
• Current or ability to obtain licensure as Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Minnesota
• Current certification in CPR, BCLS/ACLS required
• Must be certified by National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Provide anesthesia services across multiple facility locations
• Handle all types of surgery including cardiac, complete ortho, complex vascular, neuro, OB, pediatric, regional, and thoracic cases
• Required skills include general anesthesia (adult, pediatric, neonatal, trauma), spinal anesthesia, regional anesthesia, obstetrical cases, neurosurgical cases, open heart anesthesia, thoracic cases, complex vascular and orthopedic cases
• Manage ventilation and acute volume/BP issues
• Perform arterial line placement
• Credentialing timeframe 45-120 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
