Hi there,
I'm working with a facility out in Hickory, North Carolina needing some CRNA coverage. I wanted to see if it would be something you are interested in. Great PAY, Great Facility, and Flexible schedule! All traveling needs will and Malp insurances be covered for you.

Contract Length: 3 months
Shift Details: Days, 8/hr shifts, 32hrs or 40 hrs (can do either 4x8s or 5x8s)
*Only full time availability will be considered
Schedule: Mon-Fri, but will likely be some weekends involved.
Work Details:
· Support staff: Anes Techs, 2-3 during day, 1-2 at night
· Amount of coverage needed per month: 20+ shifts
· Patients per day: Depends upon what room they are placed in. Examples: Endo: 10-16/day,
Vascular: 2-3, Ortho joints: 3-4, Spine: 1-3, General: 8-10, Gyn: 2-5/day
· Patient population/age: Spans the continuum. Pediatric cases, youngest approximately 6months (primarily dental, ENT, MRI, Urology and Ortho cases) all the way to extreme geriatric cases (100+). Bariatric service, OB/GYN (200+ deliveries/mo), general surgery, vascular surgery, 2 endoscopy rooms. Do ASA 1 to ASA 4 cases. Also have approximately 5 organ procurement cases/yr.
· Department description: OR has 12 main ORs, 2 endoscopy suites, and one separate C-section room in women’s Pavilion. Anesthesia also covers out of OR procedures in MRI, lithotripsy, ED, and Cath/CT/EP/IR.
· EMR: Meditech for hospital system, Talis for AIMS
· Hospital bed size: 258
· Special procedures: Cardiac procedures: EP ablations, cardioversions, TEE
· Skills required: Proficiency with intubation and anesthesia case management, as well as management of Endoscopy cases. Proficiency with placement of spinal for C-sections and comfy with anesthesia for C-Sections. While no previous experience with epidural placement is necessary, candidates must be comfy dosing labor epidurals for C-Sections. and epidural anesthesia. Familiarity with vascular cases, and placement of arterial lines. Experience with pediatric and OB anesth
