Job description
Specialty: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Start Date: 09/08/2025
Contract Length: 3 months (option to extend)
Coverage Type: Scheduled + Call Required
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour days)
Call rotation: 1st call 1 out of 10 (30-minute response), 2nd call 1 out of 10 (beeper), including 24-hour weekend call rotation
Call covers OR and OB
Work Details:
Small rural hospital, 99 beds
CRNAs work independently with 24/7 supervision and support
Bread and butter cases; no heads, hearts, or trauma
Pediatric ENT cases limited to ages 3-5 years
High volume of OB cases requiring epidural proficiency
Patient volume: 5-6 starts per day
Patient demographics: 75% adults, 20% OB (epidurals only), 3% adolescents, 2% young pediatrics (ENT cases)
Requirements:
Must be proficient in OB epidurals
Board Certification required
Active Ohio license or willingness to obtain
Minimum 1 year experience preferred
