Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team for a 13-week contract starting on 08/2024. The position involves working four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday to Friday, starting at 6:30 AM with the first procedure at 6:45/7:00 AM. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment alongside a dedicated team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs.

Key Responsibilities
Support Staff: 4 anesthesiologists per day, 15-18 CRNAs on each day
Coverage Needed: 5 8-hour shifts per week, 4 weeks per month
Patients per Day: Average volume of around 40 anesthesia cases/day, including endoscopy (CRNAs are not responsible for all cases; assignments vary daily)
Patient Population/Age: Primarily adults (Pediatric experience preferred, but not required)
Department Description: Diverse caseload including general, ENT, GYN, OB, plastics, endo, urology, ortho, vascular, cardiothoracic, and neuro (vascular, neuro, and thoracic preferred, OB optional)
Practice Setting: Hospital – Level II Trauma
Hospital Bed Size: 272
EMR: Cerner

Requirements
Board Certification: CRNA required
State License: Yes, State of PA required
DEA License: Yes
CSR: No
Certifications: BLS, ACLS required
Minimum Experience: 2 years required
Credentialing Timeframe: 3 – 4 weeks

Schedule
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
Start Time: 6:30 AM (First procedure at 6:45/7:00 AM)
