Job description
We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide locum services in Simpsonville, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for a CRNA looking for consistent weekday coverage with light call responsibilities in a supportive hospital-based setting. Coverage is needed beginning January 2026 and ongoing for 13 months.
🏥 Job Details:
Case Types: Bread-and-butter anesthesia cases including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, neuro, ENT, vascular, and OB. No cardiac cases.
Setting: Acute care hospital
Schedule: Full-time only Options: 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:00 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) Home call required once every two weeks
Support: One anesthesia technician onsite Collaborative department with moderate surgical volume
EMR System: EPIC
Patient Population: Ages 15–100 Estimated monthly patient volume: ~200
✅ Requirements:
Active CRNA Certification (NBCRNA)
South Carolina license required (not open to licensing candidates)
DEA and South Carolina CSR required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience required
EPIC experience preferred (virtual training available if needed)
Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
COVID-19 vaccination not required
Clean background required
📋 Credentialing:
Estimated timeframe: Up to 4 months with active SC license; 5–6 months without
Zoom interview required
References: Minimum two physician referrals preferred
All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission
