Position Overview

A hospital-based anesthesia team in Simpsonville, South Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified CRNA to join a collaborative, rotating schedule model. This role fills an established slot within the department’s structured schedule matrix, where all providers share equal responsibilities including call coverage.

Providers handle a daily mix of general, OB/GYN, ENT, and orthopedic cases in a supportive environment with anesthesia tech assistance.

Work Environment & Schedule
• Schedule Options:
o 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
o 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
• Weekly schedule alternates between 4x10s and 5x8s
• Call Required:
o Home call approximately once every 2 weeks
o Weekday call: 3–5 PM to 7 AM
o Weekend call: 24 hours
o 30–45 minute response time
o Post-call providers are typically first out; most post-call days off
• Patient Volume: ~200
• Patient Ages: 15–100
• EMR: Epic
• Support Staff: 1 Anesthesia Tech
• Cases: Bread and butter anesthesia (General, OB/GYN, ENT, Ortho)

Requirements
• NBCRNA Board Certification
• Active South Carolina license
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• DEA & CSR required
• Minimum 1 year of anesthesia experience
• Comfortable with routine anesthesia cases
