Specialty: CRNA
Contract Length: 6 months ongoing
Shift Details: 5x10s, 8s, and 12s available. Limited 24-hour shifts. Call frequency is as much as the provider can handle.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and call. Must be willing to support all 4 facilities (Germantown, University, North, and South).
Work Details:
• Support Staff: 25 MDs and 50 CRNAs
• Coverage Needed: 5 days a week, 2 weekends with call every month (call is optional, but availability for Monday-Friday is required)
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 to 1:4, depending on case stability
• Patient Population: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric
• Department: Anesthesiology
• EMR System: Currently Cerner, migrating to Epic in the Spring
• Hospital Bed Size: 309 beds
• Required Skills: Epidural, spinal, and regional anesthesia (including brachial plexus, fem-sciatic, ankle, wrist, etc.) with ultrasound guidance.
Practice Setting:
• Facility Type: Hospital
• Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma Center
Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes (Board Eligible considered)
• License: TN license preferred, but open to compact state licenses
• DEA and CSR: Preferred but not required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years required
Credentialing Timeframe: 2 weeks
Note: Providers must submit case logs showing 350 hospital-based cases within the last 12 months from a similar-sized Level 1 trauma center as part of the credentialing process.
