Anesthesiologist Needed for Medical Centers around Austin TX.

Job description

*PROVIDERS WILL BE WORKING AT MORE THAN ONE FACILITY - Physicians need to be available to travel to any other facility within the same day. Travel is not guaranteed but may be needed.
Worksites Location: Austin, TX area
ASAP - Ongoing
Duration of Assignment: 12 weeks, will probably extend
8-hr shifts
No Call
No Overtime Expected
Case Types: General, Neuro, Ortho. OB, Pediatrics, Cardiac. Limited Pediatrics. Very busy L&D units.
*We must ensure the provider has done OB within the past 2 years and can provide us with case logs & references which validate their OB experience within the past 2 years.
Number of Anesthesia Rooms: 18
Are MDs supervising CRNAs? Yes
What is the CRNA to MD ratio? 4 to 1
Are MDs doing their own cases? Yes
Anesthesia Model: Care Team Model with both CAAs & CRNAs
EMR: Paper Charting with electronic orders
Board Certified Required
Active TX License Required
Cred'g/Priv'g: 30 days
Hourly Pay Rate: $330 + T & L...Estimated: $143/day + the day before and after – lodging/housing stipend, $275/week – car rental /mileage stipend, and client will pay for 1 roundtrip flight every 3 months
