Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical and dental procedures with precision and safety.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and medical history review to develop individualized anesthesia plans.
Manage airway control and airway management techniques during procedures to ensure unobstructed breathing and oxygenation.
Administer medications and injections accurately, adhering to HIPAA regulations and standards for patient privacy and quality care.
Document all medical interventions, anesthesia records, and patient responses thoroughly in medical documentation systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize pain management strategies and ensure smooth perioperative care transitions.
Maintain compliance with policies, safety protocols, and anesthesia best practices while providing exceptional patient care in surgery center setting.

Skills

Proven critical care experience with a strong foundation in physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology related to anesthesia practice.
Extensive knowledge of anesthesiology principles including airway management, medication administration, and patient assessment techniques.
Experience working with from teenage through adult populations to tailor anesthesia approaches accordingly.
Proficiency in using electronic systems for medical documentation and patient monitoring.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, NCQA standards, and hospital experience requirements for maintaining compliance and delivering quality care is a plus.
Skilled in administering injections, managing airway devices, monitoring vital signs, and responding swiftly to changes in patient condition.
