Job description

We’re seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity at a Level III Trauma Center offering an 8-hour daily guarantee, overtime pay, and a broad clinical case mix.

This position is ideal for anesthesiologists who enjoy hands-on regional anesthesia, OB exposure, and a structured supervision model in a well-supported OR environment.

Schedule & Practice Model

8-hour/day guarantee with overtime paid after 8 hours

Medical supervision model (approximately 60%)

Daily Coverage: 5 total providers (2 MDs, 3 CRNAs)

ORs: 5 operating rooms

Orthopedics

OB/GYN (including C-sections & VBACs)

Pediatrics

Urology

ENT

Ophthalmology

Plastics

OB Volume: ~380 deliveries annually

Licensure & Requirements

Active Vermont medical license REQUIRED

Active Vermont DEA REQUIRED

Certifications:

ACLS (AHA only)

BLS

PALS

Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days

Temp privileges available with a clean background and malpractice history
