Locums Anesthesiologist - Brunswick, GA - long term contract

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a board-certified Anesthesiologist to provide locum services at a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center in Brunswick, Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for an Anesthesiologist comfortable working independently in an outpatient setting. Coverage is needed starting January 12, 2026, for 26 weeks with the potential for ongoing work.

Job Details:
Case Types: Multi-Specialty Ambulatory Surgery (Ortho, Plastics, Eyes, GYN, Pain, Podiatry, Urology)
Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm (5x8-hour shifts). Some days end around noon, occasionally as late as 6pm. No call, no weekends.
Daily Volume: 1-2 cases on light days, 20-30 cases on eye days
Support: 1 MDA, 1 CRNA, 1-2 surgeons per day. Must be comfortable working independently and doing own cases.
EMR System: Paper charting
Credentialing: 30 days (temporary privileges will be requested)

Requirements:
Board Certification in Anesthesiology
Active Georgia Medical License (required)
DEA License
Comfortable working independently in ambulatory setting
Multi-specialty experience preferred
