Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist for short‑term coverage blocks throughout the summer in Arizona. This is a well‑supported assignment with a diverse case mix, consistent CRNA support, and manageable daily volume.
Coverage Dates Available:

6/1–6/5
6/15–6/19
6/24–6/26
7/6–7/10
7/13–7/17
8/3–8/7
8/27–8/28

Open weeks available; providers may choose any combination of dates.
Facility & Practice Details:

Hospital Size: 87 beds
Patients per Day: Approximately 4–8
Patient Population: All ages
EMR: Cerner
Support Staff: CRNAs and nursing staff
Locums anesthesiologist will always have CRNA backup

Case Mix Includes:

Geriatric fractures
Urology
General surgery (no bariatrics)
Advanced breast cancer surgery
Total joints
All endoscopy cases under propofol infusion

Annual Volume:

~3,000 OR cases
~3,000 endoscopy cases
~500 OB deliveries

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong, current OB anesthesia skills required
Must be comfortable covering OB, OR, and endoscopy, including nights and weekends
Active Arizona license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) required
