Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call

Setting: Inpatient, Level III Trauma

EMR: Epic


Schedule & Call Requirements

Providers must be available for minimum 5 shifts per month, including weekends and shifts in the last week of each month. Must be fully willing to work nights + weekends.
New locums will start on day shift before being scheduled for nights.

Weekday Shifts:

Day: Start 7a, 8–12-hour rotations

Evening: 3p–11p

Night: 7p–7a

2nd call: 7p–11p

1st call: 11p–7a


Weekend Shifts:

Weekend Day 1: 7a–7p

Weekend Day 2: 7a–7a (24-hr call, 2nd call)

Weekend Night: 7a–7a (24-hr call; 3rd call 7a–7p, 1st call 7p–7a)


Call: Beeper; remote on weekends.

Requirements

Board Certification: Required

CA License: Active CA license only

Experience: Minimum 2 years of current hospital-based clinical activity

Credentialing: 90–120 days
