Job description

An established outpatient dental surgical center is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for ongoing locums coverage with a predictable daytime schedule, low daily case volume, and a calm, procedure-focused environment.

Assignment Overview:
Specialty: Anesthesiology
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Ongoing through 2026
Schedule: 3–5 shifts per week
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Call: None
Setting: Outpatient Dental Surgical Suite

Clinical Details:
- Type of Anesthesia: IV anesthesia for moderate sedation
- Cases per Day: 1–3 procedures
- Dual full-arch cases in the morning
- Single arch or implant cases in the afternoon
- Patient Population: Adults only
- Procedures: IV moderate sedation (patients are not fully put under)

Work Environment:
- Support Staff: Physician plus two assistants
- Procedure Rooms: Currently using 2 rooms (4 total, with expansion planned)
- Practice Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center / Dental Center
- Pace: Controlled, efficient, and low stress

Requirements:
- Board Certification: Required
- License: Active Florida license required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- DEA: Preferred
