Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an Anesthesiologist for a locum assignment at an ambulatory surgery center in South New Jersey.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: June 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 1st Tuesday of each month through the 18th–20th of the month (varies slightly by cycle)
• Shift Details: 7:00 AM start; most days finish between 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
• Call Requirements: None

Work Details
• Case Volume: Low-volume, high-efficiency outpatient setting
• Case Mix:
– IVF retrievals (1–4/day, up to 6 max; IVF experience not required)
– Hysteroscopies (Mondays and occasionally Wed/Thurs, up to 2/day)
– Occasional D&C procedures
• Anesthesia Type: MAC / monitored anesthesia care (propofol, fentanyl)
• Patient Population: Very low-risk outpatient population

Practice Setting
• Ambulatory Surgery Center

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Active New Jersey license required
