Locums Anesthesiologist Need in Minot, ND!

Start Date: 07/29/2024

Contract Length: 26 Weeks (6 Months) with option to extend

Shift Details: 5 x 12-hour shifts

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6 AM - 6 PM, weekend call rotation taking Saturday OR Sunday

Work Details:
Support Staff: CRNA in every case; physician is primarily supervising
Coverage Needed: 60 open shifts per month plus weekend coverage (will take multiple providers)
Patients per Day: 1000 cases per month; daily cases vary, but there are 5 Anesthesiologists on per day
Patient Population/Age: Adult and some healthy pediatrics
Department Description: Anesthesiology
EMR: Cerner
Hospital Bed Size: 318; Level II Trauma
Skills Required:
Supervising CRNAs (typically only 3 at a time, never more than 4 on rare occasions)
Lots of OB, ortho, hearts (not required but preferred), brain, abdominal or chest trauma, MVAs, bullet wounds, stab wounds

Practice Setting:
Hospital – Level II Trauma

Requirements:
Board Certification: Yes, Anesthesiology
State License Required: No (Willing to License)
DEA: Yes
CSR: No
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, ATLS
Minimum Experience Required: 2 years minimum
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
