Anesthesiologist Position in Minot, ND

Start Date: July 29, 2024
Contract Length: 26 Weeks (6 Months) with option to extend

Shift Details:

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Weekend Call: Rotation for either Saturday or Sunday (client clarifying if these are regular working days or call hours)
Work Details:

Support Staff: CRNA in every case; physicians primarily supervise
Coverage Needed: 60 open shifts per month plus weekend coverage (Multiple providers accepted)
Patients per Day: Approximately 1000 cases per month; daily caseload varies with 5 Anesthesiologists per day
Patient Population/Age: Primarily adult with some health pediatrics
Department Description: Anesthesiology
EMR: Cerner
Hospital Bed Size: 318; Level II Trauma
Required Skills: Proficiency in Level II trauma cases; primarily supervising CRNAs (typically 3 at a time, max 4 on rare occasions). Experience with OB, orthopedics, cardiac (preferred but not required), neurosurgery, abdominal or chest trauma, MVAs, bullet wounds, and stab wounds.

Hospital - Level II Trauma
Requirements:

Board Certification: Yes, Anesthesiology
State License Required: Not required (Willing to License)
DEA: Yes
CSR: No
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, ATLS
Minimum Experience: 2 years minimum
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
