Anesthesiologist needed in Minot, ND.

Start Date: July 29, 2024

Contract Length: 26 Weeks (6 Months) with option to extend

Shift Details: 5 x 12-hour shifts

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with weekend call rotation (Saturday or Sunday). Weekend shifts may be set as regular working days; client is clarifying the hours.

Work Details:

Support Staff: CRNA in every case; physician primarily supervising
Coverage Needed per Month: 60 open shifts plus weekend coverage (multiple providers will be accepted)
Patients per Day: 1000 cases per month; daily cases vary, with 5 Anesthesiologists on duty each day
Patient Population/Age: Adult and some healthy pediatrics
Department Description: Anesthesiology
EMR System: Cerner
Hospital Bed Size: 318; Level II Trauma Center
Skills Required: Proficiency in Level II trauma; primarily supervising CRNAs (typically 3 at a time, rarely more than 4); experience with OB, ortho, hearts (preferred but not required), brain, abdominal or chest trauma, MVAs, bullet wounds, stab wounds
Practice Setting:

Hospital – Level II Trauma Center
Requirements:

Board Certification: Required in Anesthesiology
State License: Not required (Willing to license)
DEA: Required
CSR: Not required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS
Minimum Experience: 2 years
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
