Shift Schedule: Standard 5-day week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, flexible)
Pay Range: Approximately $300 per hour, flexible based on experience and qualifications

Department Overview:
The Department of Anesthesia offers comprehensive medical direction and general anesthesia services. We handle a diverse range of cases, including cardiac, newborns, and healthy pediatric patients. Our team provides anesthesia care across various specialties, emphasizing both routine and complex cases.
Role and Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical and procedural cases, including but not limited to cardiac and newborn procedures.
Provide medical direction and oversight for general anesthesia cases.
Manage patient care from pre-operative assessment through post-anesthesia recovery.
Collaborate with surgical teams, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Respond to and manage anesthesia-related emergencies and complications.
Patient Load:
Handle 15 - 30 patients per day, covering all case types.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in "bread and butter" anesthesia cases.
Experience in cardiac, newborn, and pediatric anesthesia is required.
Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Anesthesiology.
State License: South Carolina license preferred; must obtain SC license if not currently held.
Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing as an anesthesiologist.
Malpractice History: Clean malpractice history
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days with SC license.
Minimum of 120 days without SC license.
