Anesthesiologist Locum Tenens Opportunity | Tennessee
Anesthesia OnCall is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment at TriStar Summit Medical Center. This hospital-based opportunity offers a structured call rotation, clinical variety, and a defined schedule model.
Facility & Assignment
Facility: TriStar Summit Medical Center
Assignment length: 6 months with option to extend
Start date: February 23, 2026
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 45 days
Schedule & Call Structure
Shift lengths vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours depending on call assignment
Providers rotate through a 4-physician model that includes:
One physician covering a full week of night float (5:00p–6:30a)
Two physicians alternating second call and post-second call
One physician off during that rotation period
Locum provider participates fully in this established rotation
Cases & Scope
Approximate case mix includes:
30% Orthopedics
17% General surgery
14% Urology
Miscellaneous cases at a Primary Stroke Center
Physicians perform regional anesthesia, including blocks and spinals
Compensation & Coverage
Very competitive locum compensation
Medical malpractice coverage provided by Anesthesia OnCall
Travel and expenses considered
Requirements
Board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist
Comfortable with regional anesthesia, blocks, and spinals
EMR: Meditech Expanse
