📍 Assignment Overview
Location: Fredericksburg, VA
Start Date: March 2, 2026
Contract Length: 26 weeks (ongoing)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (50 hrs/week)
Weekend Availability: Plus — flexible options available
Credentialing: 90–120 days
🕐 Schedule & Options
Primary Coverage: Full-time, 50 hrs/week (Mon–Fri)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs, with flexibility to flex up to 50
Weekend/Night Coverage: Optional — full-time need prioritized
Open to:
Full-time anesthesiologists
2–3 weeks per month
Weekend-only or night coverage if preferred
💼 Clinical Details
Practice Model: Medical Direction (1:3 supervision ratio)
CRNA Scope: General, epidurals & spinals only (no peripheral blocks)
MD Role: Must be willing to perform solo cases as needed
Case Types:
General, Ortho, Thoracic, OB, Endo, Trauma, Organ Harvest
Healthy Peds (no transplants)
EMR: Epic
🏥 Facility Breakdown
16 ORs, 2 OBs, 8 Endos, Cath, IR, ED
24-hour staffing with 1 in-house MDA & CRNAs overnight
Adjacent to main hospital; outpatient-only cases
6 ORs, healthy peds, ortho, bread & butter
MDs should be comfortable performing blocks
6 ORs, 1 OB, 1 Endo
Heavy OB case mix; all critical cases transferred to MWH
24-hour in-house coverage (1 MDA, 2 CRNAs)
All providers are credentialed at all three sites for scheduling flexibility.
📋 Requirements
Board Certification: Required
License: Active Virginia license required at submittal
Certifications: AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS
Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred
Must Be Comfortable: Doing own cases and performing blocks
Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days
