Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to provide scheduled and call coverage across a diverse case mix in Virginia. This long-term assignment offers flexible shift lengths, collaborative support, and exposure to a wide range of procedures within a fast-paced clinical environment.

Assignment Details
• Coverage Dates: January 1 – June 30, 2026
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• Contract Length: 6 months
• Schedule: 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts
• Shift Allocation: Based on departmental needs
• Call Requirements:
o Must be open to weeknight and/or weekend call
o Approx. 1:14 call rotation
• Coverage: Scheduled shifts + required call

o Complex Vascular (non-cardiac) – Required
o Complex Orthopedics – Required
o Open Heart – Not Required
o Thoracic – Not Required
o Pain Management – Not Required
• Additional Skills:
o Ventilation management – Required
o Central & arterial line insertion – Required
o PA catheter – Not required
• Procedure Locations: OR, Cardiac Cath Lab
• Shift Example:
o Day – Standard 10-hour shift
o 08:00–17:00

Requirements
• License: Active Virginia license
• Board Certification: Required
• Minimum Experience: Competency across listed required case types and procedures
• Availability: Must provide scheduled shifts + call coverage
